High School School: Douglas Anderson School of the Arts
Possible/Intended Major: International Studies
Housing/Dorm choice: I don't know. I hope there's still space available.
5 interesting things about me: I think Craig Adelman blows. I am from Florida. Talking about myself makes me uncomfortable. Children intimidate me. I am going to look into the crew club this year.
anything else you want to add (other schools you applied to, questions, comments, etc)
I'm transferring in this year from Marymount University and will do anything to avoid the transfer hazing that is supposed to take place.

I have a question to ask. I know that American is a fine school. However, I'm not entirely sure how strong/good American's Visual Media program (or "Film and Media Arts) is. Are there any freshmen here who are Communication: Visual Media majors? If so, is this a school that focuses on feature filmmaking? I know when people think of film schools they automatically recite "Nyu, Columbia,, UCLA, USC" blah blah, but if one wanted to be involved in the Film industry as a professional and wanted quality hands on education, is AU a college that can provide that? Sorry this inquiry is so long, I just would realllyy appreciate any comments from film majors at this school. how good is the equipment? are the professors good in general? thanks so much for your time in advance....

Textbook lists are up for next semester. Good luck finding good deals online and not at our cheap bookstore that gives us nothing for buybacks and rips us off getting books.

Hello everyone!
I'm Chris Sgro - a senior here at AU. As an upperclassman, I've heard lots of amazing things about this year's freshmen class. I am friends with a few of you already.
Hopefully, all of you have become involved in the school already through activities of some sort. Along with that, I hope that each of you will be voting between today and wednesday at 5 PM. I am running for the SPA Senate Seat. I've been able to accomplish alot already in the Senate - authoring a vote of no-confidence on former-Prez Ladner as well as a bill seeking student representation on the Board of Trustees. I will continue to be a strong leader in student government. For more info, check out my facebook group, Keep Chris Sgro in the AU Senate. Thanks!
